For historical information, Wikipedia has an article on Halfaya Pass.

Halfaya Pass is a map set around the Egyptian–Libyan border. It is part of Operation Battleaxe fought between United Kingdom and Germany.

Description[]

Both sides have one uncapturable base. There are a total of six control points.

The British will inflict a ticket bleed to the Germans if they hold five or more control points, whereas the Germans only need four or more to do so on the British.

In Conquest mode, the Germans have three control points, and the British have two, leaving Halfaya Pass control point neutral. In Co-op mode, the Fort Musaid and Barracks control points are also neutral in the beginning, leaving the Germans and the British with two and one control points respectively.

Fighting is mainly conducted by tanks, with aircraft providing support. The terrain features open ground for majority of the map, split by ridges with narrow roads in the middle where much of the action will take place. Furthermore, parachutes are disabled for this map.
