Operation Ironclad is a map set in Madagascar. It is fought between the United Kingdom and Vichy France.
Description
This is a large map with seven control points: six of them are under Vichy France's control, and one as a neutral point.
The British has a Yorktown-class aircraft carrier, a Dido-class cruiser, a Flower-class corvette, and a LCM Mk. III to begin the assault.
As an assault map, the British side starts off with a ticket bleed. This will stop once when the Vichy French controls four or fewer control points.
There are a number of civilian vehicles in the map, namely buses, Fort T, and fishing boats, which can help players to navigate in long distances.
It is also wroth noting that no parachutes are available for bailed out pilots on this map.
Trivia
A Japanese Ko-hyoteki-class submarine can be found and used in the map, as Japanese midget submarines took part in attacks on Madagescar.
