Operation Stalemate is a map set around Peleliu Island and its surrounding islands. It is fought between United States and Japan.

There are six control points in this map: the Japanese hold five of them, and the remainder is neutral.
The Americans start off with Essex-class aircraft carrier, one Wickes-class high-speed transport, and one Landing Ship Medium for the amphibious assault. The Japanese naval elements consist of one Type B1 submarine and one Akizuki-class destroyer on the opposite side.
The values of the control points differ from one to another:
- Hill 100: 50
- Bloody Nose Ridge: 40
- The Point: 20
- Ngesebus Island: 20
- Angaur: 20
Whichever side holds control points with a combined value greater than 90 will incur a ticket bleed to the other side. The White Beach control point, which is initially neutral, can only be captured by the Americans.
Fighting is carried out by infantry, with extensive aircraft support available for both sides. Although the American force have many landing craft available for amphibious assault, the Japanese garrison has a submarine and aircraft from two airfields to counter the attackers.
