The Beretta Model 38 is an Italian submachine gun.

The Beretta Model 38 and its variants, also known as MAB 38 (Moschetto Automatico Beretta Modello 1938), were a series of submachine guns of the Royal Italian Army and used during World War II. It was mainly issued to paratroopers and other elite units. But since it was highly praised for its reliability and accuracy, it found its way into many other parts ot the Army, especially as equipment of officers and reconnaissance units. The German Army used large numbers of the Beretta 38 as well as the Italian Resistance and the Yugoslavian Army and Partisans, who captured vast quantities of the weapon.
In Battlegroup42, the Beretta Model 38 is the primary weapon of the Italian medic class.
