For historical information, Wikipedia has an article on Battle of Berlin.

Berlin is a map set in the eponymous capital city of Germany. It is fought between Soviet Union and Germany.

Description[]

The Soviets start off with one uncapturable base, whereas the Germans have three control points.

Whichever side has all three control points will inflict a ticket bleed to the opposing side.

The wide streets are open to direct fire from various stationary weapons, such as machine guns, anti-tank guns, and Pantherturm emplacements. The Soviet force has a number of tanks available at the base, whereas the Germans have a Tiger II and a Sdkfz 251/1 halftrack at Bernauer Strasse control point.

Trivia[]

  • The map is a direct port of the same map from original Battlefield 1942.
  • 4504-Crossing the Spree is a reworked version of this map.
  • On the fourth-floor balcony of a building southeast of the Bernauer Strasse HQ flag, there is an inaccessible MG42 facing northeast. This is inherited from the original Battlefield 1942 map, but in BattleGroup42 it is also present in singlepalyer.
