BM-13 Katyusha is a Soviet self-propelled artillery.

The term BM-13 refers to ground vehicles armed with 132mm rockets.
In Battlegroup42 the BM-13 is a rocket artillery launcher system comprised of a ZIS-6 truck, on which a launcher rack for sixteen unguided 132mm rockets was mounted. Later launcher systems often used the Lend-Lease Studebaker US6 trucks as a carriage instead of the ZIS-6. The US-trucks showed better cross-country performance, and such systems called BM-13N. Truck-based Katyusha launchers can deliver a lot of firepower over an area in a very short time, but the drawback is the long reload time and their fragility, hence they must avoid direct enemy confrontation at all costs.
Early BM-13 can be found in maps such as 4107-Dnieper River. BM-13N can be found in maps set in mid-1943 onward.
