For historical information, Wikipedia has an article on Krupp Protze.

Krupp Protze is a German anti-aircraft vehicle.

Description[]

The name Krupp Protze is the unofficial moniker for the light six-wheeled German 1-ton truck family, which includes the 50 hp "L 2 H 43" and the 60 hp "L 2 H 143", which were developed in the early 1930s. The word "Protze" means "limber" in English, which denotes the vehicle's use as a tractor for lighter guns such as 2cm FlaK 38 and 3.7cm PaK 36. A common sight especially in the early years of World War II, these vehicles were also used for a variety of roles, including transport, liaison, ambulance, staff car, and, thanks to its advanced suspension design, as a makeshift self-propelled gun by mounting a light anti-aircraft or anti-tank gun directly on the truck bed. Although production ended around 1942 to make way for newer designs, the Krupp Protze continued to serve until the end of the war.

In BattleGroup42, the Krupp Protze serves as a self-propelled anti-aircraft vehicle for the German and, as a stop gap solution, Italian forces. While its 20mm gun is useful against enemy aircraft as well as light vehicles and infantry, its lack of any armour makes it inadequate for direct engagement.

It can be found on 4111-Operation Crusader, 4207-Intruder Mission, 4302-Faid Pass, and Kursk.
