For historical information, Wikipedia has an article on Mk VII Tetrarch light tank.

Tetrarch is a British light tank.

Description[]

The Light Tank Mk VII Tetrarch (A17) was designed as a successor to the Light Tank Mk VI with better armament and armour. However, many light tanks at the time fared poorly even in the early phases of the war, and the Tetrarch's intended deployment to North Africa failed to materialise due to inadequate cooling systems. Some were eventually deployed for amphibious landing in Madagascar, with twenty shipped to the Soviet Union under Lend-Lease Act, who would use them together with other contemporary light tanks. Its biggest use, however, came in the Normandy landings, where they were deployed as airborne tanks from gliders. While they were no match against most German armour by that time, they saw use providing fire support and assisting infantry in smaller skirmishes until the end of August 1944, when they were withdrawn from frontline service.

In BattleGroup42, the Tetrarch appears in 4205-Operation Ironclad, 4406-Pegasus Bridge, Operation Market Garden, as well as co-op version of 4312-Commandos. Its QF 2-pounder gun and coaxial Besa machine gun are adequate against light vehicles and infantry respectively, but otherwise unsuitable against heavier tanks due to its relatively light firepower and armour.
