The LVT(A)-1 is an American amphibious fire support.
Description[]
Dubbed "Amtank" (a portmanteau of "amphibious tank"), the LVT(A)-1 is a fire support variant of the LVT-2 Water Buffalo. Its role is to accompany landing troops during a beach assault, and to provide close fire support for them.
Its 37 mm Gun M6 gun can be a match with the Japanese tanks. The hull and rear-mounted M1919 Browning machine guns provide all range cover against enemy infantry.
It can be found on the sides of North Carolina-class battleship and Wickes-class high-speed transport in some maps, such as 4409-Angaur and Iwo Jima.
