The M2 Browning machine gun is an American heavy machine gun.

The M2 Browning machine gun was essentially a larger version of the M1919 Browning machine gun, sharing the operating principles and layout but firing the more powerful .50 calibre round. The weapon has been extensively used as a vehicular mount weapon since its debut in the 1930s, and is still in wide use in modern times.
In BattleGroup42, the M2 Browning is usually found an armament on a number of vehicles. It is also available as a standalone stationary weapon, usually on an anti-aircraft tripod mount.
