For historical information, Wikipedia has an article on Matilda I (tank).

Matilda I is a British infantry tank.

Description[]

Designed as an infantry support vehicle, the Matilda I (A11) has very slow speed, but is fairly well armoured for its time. Its sole armament is a Vickers .50 heavy machine gun that fired armor piercing rounds, but it was largely ineffective against most targets other than soft skinned and lightly protected enemy vehicles. 140 of these tanks were build and used by the British Expeditionary Force in France 1940. The combat experiences clearly showed that the Matilda I, though being a stubborn opponent, was completely obsolete by then. The British Army abandoned most of them during the evacuation from France, the remainder were immediately put out of combat service.

In Battlegroup42, the Matilda I appears in the European theatre between May and June 1940, such as 4005-Battle of Arras and 4006-Dunkirk Perimeter.
