The RGD-33 grenade is a Soviet hand grenade.
The RGD-33 was designed and produced to replace the Model 1914 grenade from the World War I era. It was a stick grenade with a spring-loaded handle, cylindrical warhead, and a fragmentation sleeve. Its complexity in use and manufacture caused its cease in production and succeeded by other grenades, including the F1 Grenade, but the RGD-33 remained in front line use until the end of the war.
In Battlegroup42, the RGD-33 grenade is the standard hand grenade of the scout, assault, anti-tank, medic, machinegunner and rifleman classes of the Soviet forces in the early war scenarios.
